12 Month Muay Thai Education Visas

The Muay Thai Non-Immigrant Study Visa (also known as Muay Thai Education Visa) allows you to stay in Thailand and train with us for 1 year.

How to apply

To apply for the Muay Thai Education Visa with us, you must be already in Thailand and have at least 45 days left on your tourist visa. The next step is you must apply for a Thai Police Clearance Certificate (which confirms that you do not have a criminal record or legal issues in Thailand). This requires you to visit the district police station on the mainland in Surat Thani, which is a day trip from Koh Phangan by ferry. After you have that, we will assist you with the rest of the visa application process.

Prices for 1 year:

  • Visa + 70 classes = 95,000 baht

  • Visa + train 1 x per day, 6 days per week = 131,000 baht

  • Visa + train 2 x per day, 6 days per week = 155,000 baht

* prices do not include accommodation

DTV Muay Thai Visa

The DTV Muay Thai Visa is a new type of tourist visa designed to make it easier for students of Muay Thai to train in Thailand long-term.

5 Year Visa

The DTV Muay Thai Visa is a 5-year visa, which needs to be extended every 6 months. You can do this by doing a border-run to the Malaysian border. There are organized companies here who provide this service and involves a 24-hour trip in a minibus to the border with an overnight stay on the way back. So, at the end of each 180-day period, you simply print the PDF of the visa from your original application, show it when you arrive at the border and you will receive another 180-day stamp in your passport. And you can keep doing this process every 180-days for a total of 5 years.
